Our Core Values:
Our Chiropractic Services in Navasota
At Short Family Chiropractic, we offer gentle, specific care for every stage of life. Whether you’re seeking pain relief, support during pregnancy, or proactive care for your kids, we’re here to help your whole family thrive.

Chiropractic Adjustments
Restore balance to your spine and nervous system with safe, targeted adjustments. By reducing stress and interference, your body can function and heal the way it was designed to.

Pre & Postnatal Care
We’re certified in the Webster Technique, a specialized chiropractic method that supports proper neurobiomechanical function during pregnancy. Experience less stress, improved comfort, and better birth outcomes.

Pediatric Care
Kids benefit from chiropractic care, too! Gentle adjustments support healthy development, better posture, stronger immunity, and optimal brain–body communication during critical growth years.
Why Chiropractic Care?
Daily stress, poor posture, and even small injuries can cause misalignments in the spine and pelvis. These misalignments put pressure on the nervous system, which controls every function of your body, from movement and digestion to sleep and immunity. Chiropractic adjustments restore proper motion, relieve nerve pressure, and help your body communicate and heal the way it’s meant to.
Key Benefits of Chiropractic Care:
Meet Dr. Sarah
Dr. Sarah Short is passionate about helping families experience the power of natural healing through chiropractic care. An East Texas native, she began practicing in 2018 after earning her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Dr. Sarah is certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the Webster Technique, a specialized chiropractic method that supports proper neurobiomechanical function during pregnancy. She continues to advance her training in pediatric chiropractic, helping children thrive from their earliest days.
Outside the office, Dr. Sarah loves spending time with her soulmate Cody and her bonus kiddos, Cason, Chayton, and Coy. You’ll often find her gardening, coaching little league, two-stepping at Texas Country concerts, or dreaming about beach days in the sun.

Your First Visit
We know visiting a new chiropractor can feel unfamiliar, and we’re here to make your experience simple and stress-free. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll be cared for like family.
When you arrive, we’ll have a few minutes of easy paperwork to complete so we can better understand your health history and goals.
You’ll meet with Dr. Sarah for a one-on-one consultation and thorough exam. This includes:
- Vital signs
- Posture analysis
- Gentle spinal and soft tissue palpation
- Orthopedic testing (if needed)
This helps us get a complete picture of your spine and nervous system function.
As long as there are no red flags or further testing required, you’ll receive your first chiropractic adjustment during this visit. Most patients leave feeling relaxed, balanced, and encouraged.
At your next appointment, Dr. Sarah will review your results and outline a personalized plan to help you reach your health goals. Because most health issues develop over time, consistent adjustments are often needed to create lasting change.
Our goal is to make every visit comfortable, clear, and tailored to your needs, so you always know what to expect and how we’re supporting your health.
